LOT 491 1827 N-5 R2 AU50 . Glossy light steel brown and light olive with generous traces of faded red in protected areas on both sides. Smooth and quite attractive. A small swipe of darker olive brown toning at the tip of the coronet and a tick over the left edge of the E in ONE are the notable marks. M-LDS, Grellman state c, with a die crack from the lowest curl to the dentils right of the date.
LOT 494 1827 N-8 R3 VF20+ . Sharpness near VF35 but there are several light rim bruises on the obverse, a short scratch before the nose, and some dull nicks inside the top of the wreath. The notable rim bruises are at star 3, star 4, and star 13. None of these marks is significant in its own right but there are too many to ignore. Glossy olive brown and light chocolate. MDS with a sharp inner circle on the obverse and die cracks through the date and most stars.

LOT 495 1827 N-9 R3 PCGS graded AU55 . Glossy light to medium olive brown. The surfaces are smooth and the only notable marks are some light nicks on the rim at stars 4 & 5 plus a couple more on the upright of the E in CENT. Sharply struck LDS, Grellman state b, with die cracks on the obverse including the final one from the upper right point of star 13 to the dentils. Our grade is AU50 sharpness net EF45+ , CC#3 in our condition census for the variety. Certification Number 1651.55/41286304
LOT 492 1827 N-6 R3 EF40 . Glossy light olive and chocolate brown. Smooth and very attractive. Just a few small marks including a thin nick in the dentils below the 7 and a dull nick under the right foot of the second A in AMERICA. MDS, Grellman state c, with die cracks through the date and stars.

LOT 496 1827 N-10 R4+ VG10 . Several points sharper with smooth surfaces but some contact marks. The notable marks are two dull nicks off the end of the nose, light roughness at TED STA, and fine horizontal pin scratches inside the wreath. No verdigris. Glossy light olive brown and chocolate blending to olive brown in protected areas. MDS with dull die clashmarks inside the right part of the wreath. Listed as F12 in the Bland census.
LOT 493 1827 N-7 R3 PCGS graded AU50 . Frosty steel and light olive with satiny luster in protected areas. Lightly worn with trivial marks. A faint hairline scratch in the field off the upper lip and a small puff of lighter tan toning under star 12 are the best identifying marks. LDS, Grellman state b. The small dashes right of the second S in STATES are gone. Our grade is AU50. Certification Number 1651.50/81239483
