LOT 438 1820 N-10 R2 Large Date EF45 . Frosty medium steel brown with lighter steel brown and tan in protected areas, especially on the reverse. Smooth with just a few small marks including a nick on the bust tip and a vertical nick at the right point of star 5. MDS, Grellman state b. The small dash right of the F in OF is dull but clearly visible and the center dot on the reverse is gone. Removed from a PCGS holder graded AU55 (PCGS label #1615.55/15460777 included).

LOT 435 1820 N-7 R2 Small Date VF35 . Frosty dark steel and olive. Satiny and nearly void of marks but slightly dull. A tick under star 6, another right of star 7, and a couple more over the C in CENT are the only notable marks. M-LDS, Grellman state b, with a die crack from the bust tip to star 1 but no crack through star 7 to LI.

LOT 436 1820 N-8 R3 Small Date VF25 . At least 5 points sharper and choice if not for a short but relatively fresh scratch under star 7 and another under the 8. Very attractive glossy light to medium brown with steel brown toning on the highpoints. LDS, Grellman state c. The fields are flowlined and the inner circle on the obverse is gone.

LOT 439 1820 N-11 R2 Large Date EF45 . Sharpness close to AU50 but the obverse is covered with very faint hairlines. Otherwise attractive with trivial marks including a diagonal nick on the jaw, a light diagonal scratch under the E in ONE, and a shallow planchet flaw through the C in CENT. E-MDS, Grellman state a, with much of the inner circle visible between stars 1-10. The repunching at the base of the T in CENT is sharp.

LOT 437 1820 N-9 R3 Large Date VF30+ . Glossy medium steel brown with lighter brown in protected areas. Smooth with light wear and no significant marks, close to VF35. A pair of very tiny scratches right of the date are the only notable marks. E-MDS, Grellman state b, with a fine crack from the bust down to the 8. The repunching at the left bottom of the 0 in the date is dull but clear.

LOT 440 1820 N-12 R3 Large Date AU50+ . Very attractive glossy light brown with slightly darker light steel brown on the highpoints. Smooth and nearly flawless; an incipient planchet clip affects the dentils right of star 8 and the opposing ones under the end of the wreath stem. Close to AU55. M-LDS, Grellman state a late. The small lump over star 4 is barely visible.
