LOT 382 1816 N-5 R3 VF35 . Glossy medium brown with a few subtle wisps of slightly darker brown on the obverse. Smooth with just a few small marks including a dull nick mid-jawline and a minor rim bruise at OF. An attractive, lightly worn cent. EDS, Grellman state a, with clear dentils and a complete center dot on the reverse.

LOT 381 1816 N-4 R2 PCGS graded AU50 . Frosty light olive brown and steel with peeps of lighter golden tan in protected areas. Smooth with light friction on the devices and trivial marks. A swipe of slightly lighter brown toning on the neck and a faint hairline scratch above the 1 in the date are the only notable marks. M-LDS, Grellman state c. The lump under the first 1 in the date is gone and the dash between the C & A in AMERICA is weak but visible. Our grade is EF45+. (The holder is badly scuffed.). LOT 383 1816 N-6 R2 AU55 . Lustrous steel and light olive brown. Satiny with mint state eye appeal and just a couple marks. A speck of very fine carbon off the upper left point of star 1 and a dull scratch well hidden at the left end of the line below CENT are the only defects. E-MDS, Grellman state a, with clear dentils on both sides and a lump on the upper edge of the lower loop of the 6. A nice cent. Removed from an NGC holder graded MS62BN (NGC label #3314994-007 included, and it had a green CAC sticker).

LOT 384 1816 N-7 R3 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved . Lustrous medium brown and light chocolate with traces of faded mint red in protected areas. No spots or stains and the surfaces are satiny. The only marks are a light scratch under star 11 and a dull nick on the right bottom of the E in CENT. Neither mark catches your eye and the eye appeal of this cent is very nice. MDS, Grellman die state b. The fields are flowlined but at least half of the dentils are still visible. Our grade is MS60+ . The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. Certification Number 36541.63/25247219
