EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS

LOT 260 1800 S-204 R4 PCGS graded XF45 . A sharp cent with smooth surfaces and very nice eye appeal, but there are fine scratches on both sides. All the scratches are light and blended nicely into the attractive toning, and the eye appeal of this cent is quite nice. The only scratch visible to the unaided eye is a light horizontal one from the lowest curl. The reverse is nearly choice; just a single fine scratch left of OF. Glossy steel brown and chocolate with frosty lighter brown in protected areas. M-LDS, Breen state VI, with a die crack and die failure right of the Y. Graded VF35 net VF25 and CC#12 in the Noyes census, his photo #37792. Our grade is EF40 sharpness net VF25. 36200.45/61468278
