LOT 813 1846 N-11 R1 Medium Date VF35. Very attractive frosty light brown and olive. Would rate a higher grade but there is a minor rim bruise at the first S in STATES. Otherwise choice, just lightly worn. MDS, die state a late. The die lines from the dentils under the 184 are dull but visible.
LOT 817 1846 N-18 R1 EF45+. Attractive glossy brown and chocolate with frost in protected areas. Smooth and lightly worn with just a few small marks including a tick before the eye, another under star 3, and a very light vertical scratch before the mouth. LDS, die state e, with a single small round lump below the hair bun and die cracks on the reverse.

LOT 814 Pair of 1846 Cents with Tall Date. Includes N-13 R3+ Line across 1 LDS (die state c) F15+, and N-14 R2 Repunched 1 MDS (die state a) VF35. Both are glossy and nice with trivial marks. Lot of 2 coins.
LOT 818 1846 N-19 R4 EF45. Frosty medium brown and light chocolate with slightly lighter brown in protected areas. Nearly flawless with very light wear on the highpoints. A tiny rim nick at star 13 is the best identifying mark. Sharply struck E-MDS, die state b, with fine die cracks on the reverse.

LOT 815 1846 N-15 R4+ Hole in Ear VF20+. Glossy dark olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown on the highpoints. Smooth with some small contact marks on the cheek, none significant. MDS, die state b late, with a radial die crack from the right top of the N in UNITED to the space between two dentils.
LOT 819 1846 N-20 R3+ EF40+. Choice glossy light olive brown. Sharply struck with smooth surfaces and very nice eye appeal. A small nick above star 1 is the only notable mark. E-MDS, die state a late. The minor repunching at the top of the 1 is visible as are a few of the tiny die lines from the dentils right of the date.

LOT 816 1846 N-16 R5 Tall Date VF25+. Sharpness VF35 but lightly cleaned and retoned glossy medium chocolate brown with frosty steel and light olive in protected areas. The surfaces are smooth and this cent has very nice eye appeal. Just trivial contact marks, none notable. EDS, die state a. The fields are smooth and the die lines are sharp.
LOT 820 1846 N-23 R5 Tall Date, Repunched 1 F12. Sharpness F15 with a few too many tiny contact marks for the higher grade. A light scuff at the base of the IB in LIBERTY is a good identifying mark, but it is difficult to see even with a glass. Glossy dark olive brown and chocolate with smooth surfaces. The repunching through the center of the 1 is clear. EDS, die state a.
