LOT 802 1845 N-12 R3+ EF40. Very attractive glossy medium brown with frosty lighter brown and tan in protected areas. Smooth with light wear and trivial marks, none notable. Choice for the grade. LDS, die state d. The rim cud on the obverse is only partially visible but the die cracks on the reverse are all present.

LOT 800 1845 N-10 R3- VF25. Five points sharper with small nicks on the obverse, mostly on the face and neck, plus a single nick in the hair over the B. Glossy light olive and brown. Rare LDS, die state c, with a small but clear cud break between the two cracks at the left top of the E in UNITED. Removed from an NCS holder called AU Details Improperly Cleaned (NCS/NGC label #5077456-061 included, and it shows the attribution and Jules Reiver Collection provenance are noted on the label).

LOT 803 1845 N-13 R2+ EF40. Glossy chocolate and lighter olive mottled with some lighter brown on the obverse. Slightly sharper but there is fine dirt in protected areas on the reverse. Just minor contact marks including a fine diagonal nick just left of the peak of the 1. MDS, die state a, with light flowlines in the fields but no cud breaks.

LOT 804 1845 N-15 R4 EF45. Closer to AU50 in sharpness but there are some small marks in the field before the face including a dark olive brown spot off the end of the nose. Glossy light reddish brown with frost covering the protected areas on both sides. EDS, die state a, with strong horizontal die lines from the bust tip and over star 13.

LOT 801 Trio of 1845 & 1846 Cents. Includes 1845 N-10 R3- LDS (c) with a small cud on the E in UNITED F12, 1846 N-1 R1 Repunched 18 E-MDS (b) VF25, and 1846 N-1 Repunched 18 MDS (c) VF30. All are sharper with defects. Lot of 3 coins.

LOT 805 1846 N-1 R1 Repunched 18 EF40+. Slightly sharper with several small nicks on the obverse. None of the marks is significant; the notable ones are a diagonal one just right of the upper lip and a nearly vertical one in the field right of the lower part of the main curl. Sharply struck MDS, die state b, with very fine die cracks on the obverse. The repunching at the 18 is sharp.
