LOT 352 1842 N-6 R1 Large Date EF45+ . Glossy medium brown with mint frost in the protected areas. There are a few faint puffs of slightly reddish brown toning in the fields on the upper part of the obverse. Sharpness AU50 and very close to that grade, but there are some light contact marks scattered over the obverse including two very tiny pin pricks before the eye and a small nick on the nostril, none of which are visible to the unaided eye. EDS, die state a, with small lumps on the obverse and fine die lines over NITE. A scarce die state for this variety.
