LOT 622 1828 Brunk ETC-28 Counterstamped Rosette . Counterstamped 6 petal flower or rosette on the reverse. Seen on 3 or 4 other half cents. Glossy medium olive and light browns with a bit of grainy crud in some protected areas. Otherwise smooth, semi-glossy surfaces with bold date and legends.

LOT 618 1828 Brunk L-25 Counterstamped WL . Counterstamped on the obverse with an oval containing WL in fancy script. 3 Known. Attractive tan brown and light olive with only the most trivial of marks and a small planchet crack on the rim below the first 8 through to the others side above the second T in STATES. Smooth surfaces.

LOT 619 1828 Brunk C-643 Counterstamped JC / JOHN COBURN . Counterstamped JC many times on the portrait in a square, and on the reverse with JOHN COBURN. Two known, this one and on an 1826 large cent. There are a bisecting scratches intersecting on the center of the obverse separating it into 4 quadrants. Tan, medium brown, and deep olive. Bold date and legends.

LOT 623 1829 Brunk T-17 Countertamped CT Unicorn Cigars . Counterstamped CT with a unicorn atop a cigar on both sides, though on the obverse the impression of the unicorn is very weak with only part of the cigar visible on the ear, while on the reverse you can see the full outline. Bold date and legends.

LOT 624 1833 Counterstamped BB . Counterstamped BB on both sides, with heavy dentils all around the rims turning the edges up and leaving the coin slightly bent. Chocolate brown with grainy scale in some protected areas. Readable date and most legends. Not listed by Brunk.

Brunk Counterstamped W.H.SCOTT . Counterstamped W.H.SCOTT twice on the obverse intersecting each other. William H. Scott was a dry goods merchant in Philadelphia. Glossy medium and olive browns. The date is a bit obscured by the stamp but can be made out easily. S-285

LOT 625 1833 Brunk J-10 Counterstamped J&W . Counterstamped J&W on the obverse. Attractive medium brown with lighter steel toning on some high points. Nice smooth surfaces, full date and legends.

LOT 621 1828 Brunk D-19 Counterstamped GCD . Counterstamped GCD in an arch on both sides. Medium brown and deep chocolate on fairly smooth surfaces. The reverse was struck rotated about 35 degrees clockwise.

LOT 626 1833 Counterstamped JW . Counterstamped JW on the obverse. Medium olive and steel brown patina with a bit of grainy dirt in some fields and protected areas. Full date and legends other than the central reverse opposite the stamp. Not listed by Brunk.
