LOT 190 1801 S-222 R-1 VG8. Glossy dark brown with lighter pale brown on the devices and legends, even darker around the peripheries. Trivial marks scattered on the surfaces of both sides, nothing major but enough to warrant mention. Smooth otherwise. M-LDS, Breen state III.

LOT 186 1801 S-220 R-3 1/000 VG10. VF30 sharpness fine to moderate corrosion on the surfaces. Mostly dark livei with ruddy brown underneath in the reverse protected areas. LDS, Breen state VII.

LOT 187 1801 S-221 R-2 Corrected Fraction F12. VF sharpness but fine granularity covers most of the surfaces except the devices, which are smooth. Trivial marks in the fields, nothing noteworthy. Glossy dark brown and dark olive surfaces. M-LDS, Breen state IV.

LOT 191 1801 S-223 R-1 1/000 VG10. F12+ sharpness but very light roughness covers the surfaces, more so on the reverse than the obverse. There are a few hairline scratches in the obverse fields and rim nicks at K-3.5 on the obverse, over E in states, and O in OF. Dark brown and dark olive with deep reddish chocolate brown. MDS, Breen state IV.

LOT 188 1801 S-221 R-2 Corrected Fraction F15. VF25 sharpness with microscopic granularity on otherwise glossy surfaces. The only mark is a minor rim bruise over E in LIBERTY. Dark olive brown, a few shades lighter on some high points. M-LDS, Breen state IV.

LOT 192 1801 S-223 R-1 1/000 G6. Slightly sharper but cleaned long ago and now olive gray surfaces with an old scratch across the obverse with a smaller one behind the hair braid and minor nicks on the central reverse. Strong date, full legends. TDS, Breen state VI with the large rim cud under the bust tip.

LOT 189 1801 S-221 R-2 Corrected Fraction AG3. VG8 sharpness but corroded with heavy roughness and old verdigris on the surfaces. Glossy olive green and bluish steel. Free of notable marks. EDS.
