LOT 183 1848 N-21 R-3- ANACS VF25 . Attractive tan brown with deeper olive in the protected areas along with specks of dark crud. Otherwise only the most trivial of marks, nothing noteworthy or distracting. Smooth surfaces, MDS(c). Our grade is VF20. Certificate# 5299574

LOT 178 1848 N-9 R-1 ANACS EF40 . Semi-glossy dark chocolate, a few shades lighter on the high points with hints of tan outlining the portrait. There is a light layer of oxidation covering the reverse giving a more matte appearance. EDS. Our grade is VF25. Certificate# 5338616

LOT 184 1848 N-23 R-3 ANACS EF40 . Glossy light chocolate and olive browns with a dark spot between stars 1 & 2. There are a few trivial ticks on the cheek but nothing distracting or noteworthy. Smooth, glossy surfaces. E-MDS(a). Struck ever so slightly off center with a thicker border on the upper obverse and thinner on bottom. Our grade is VF30. Certificate# 7301862

LOT 179 1848 N-10 R-3 VF35+ . Attractive light brown obverse, deeper reddish chocolate brown with lighter brown on the devices on the reverse, both sides show traces of grainy crud in the protected areas. There is a trivial tick on the cheek and a tiny pin scratch left of star 8. Smooth surfaces otherwise, EDS+ (a) late, our grade is VF35+.

LOT 185 1848 N-25 R-4 ANACS EF40 . Glossy light brown and light olive. There are a few trivial nicks on the portrait and fields and a carbon speck under star 11. LDS(c ) with crumbling visible around the reverse legends. Our grade is VF35. Certificate# 7605487
