Lot 45 1794 S-31 R-1 Longest Fraction Bar PCGS MS64BN. Attractive, lustrous dark steel and olive brown with satiny, flawless surfaces. The only marks are a tiny spot of lighter toning high on the cheekbone near the hair and a faint diagonal hairline under ENT in CENT. The sharp details and unbroken mint luster give this cent outstanding eye appeal. MDS, Heck die state 3, Breen state II. The die chips in the field left of the lower curls are prominent and die erosion is evident under MER. Called MS62 and CC#3 in the Noyes census, his photo #22632. Lot 46 1794 S-31 R-1 Longest Fraction Bar PCGS AU55. Light autumn brown and light steel toning, the latter more promintent on the obverse than the reverse. There is a shallow clip and thin lamination on the edge over IT in UNITED, while the left obverse dentils did not strike up and appears some natural texture remains along the left rim.
