EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS

LOT 132 1805 C-1 R2- Stemless Wreath VF35. Sharper but there is a shallow scratch in the field off the chin. Otherwise choice with very little wear on the devices. Frosty light olive and steel brown with lots of lighter brown and tan in protected areas. Later die state with a clearly defined rim cud right of the fraction.

 ATTRACTIVE 1805 C-2 RARITY

LOT 133 1805 C-2 R5 Small 5 with Stems, PCGS graded VG8. Glossy light olive and steel brown. Smooth with trivial marks including two barely visible hairline scratches on the portrait. The date and legends are strong with the exception of HALF CENT which is nearly gone thanks to the usual weak strike inside the wreath. Our grade is VG7. A really nice example for the grade and the surfaces are choice. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. 35182.08/29828577

 SMOOTH 1805 C-3

LOT 134 1805 C-3 R4 Small 5 with Stems, PCGS graded VG10. Steel brown and light olive with lighter brown in protected areas and darker steel brown on the highpoints. No corrosion or verdigris, only light contact marks. A nick in the hair left of the shoulder, another at the leaf tip over the L in HALF, and one on the leaf under the T in CENT can help identify this piece. LDS, Manley state 2.0, with strong swelling in the field before the portrait. The date and legends are strong except for weakness on HALF CENT (which is still readable). Our grade is VG8. The attribution and Furnace Run Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. 35185.10/39197942
