1800 S-200 R3 F12 Sharpness VF25 or a bit better but there is very fine porosity in the fields and protected areas, mostly on the reverse. No verdigris. Glossy dark olive brown with slightly lighter chocolate brown on the highpoints on the obverse. In addition there is smoothing on part of the edge, but this does not show on either side, only on the edge. No contact marks on either side. EDS, Breen state II, with minor bulging at STA. The date and legends are strong. Noyes graded VF25 net VG10, his photo #24014. $850 Ex Edward H. LOT 274 1800 S-201 R4+ VG8 Attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate. The surfaces are smooth and the only marks are a spot of dark crud on the bust, a smaller one in the field close above, and a short, curving scratch left of the eye. The reverse is flawless, as choice as this grade could be. E-MDS, Breen state II, with rust lumps around the date but the bulges on the reverse are barely discernible. The date and legends are complete and strong. Graded VG8 by Bland. $850
