1800 S-199 R4 VG10 Sharpness VF20 but a bit rough, mostly on the reverse. Light scratches are blended into the toning on both sides, especially on the left side of the obverse. Glossy dark olive with reddish chocolate in protected areas on the reverse. E-MDS, Breen state III, with a die crack at ED and clashmarks at RTY and to the right along the dentil tips. The date and legends are complete and strong. $850

LOT 272 1800 S-199 R4 G5 Glossy steel and light chocolate brown. Smooth and attractive for the grade, just worn. LDS, Breen state IX, with heavy swelling on the reverse that obliterates several letters and leaves. The die cracks at ED and OF are strong and the cud at the top of the F is clear. The date is complete. $190
