1793 C-2 PCGS XF40, CAC Approved. Choice medium chocolate brown. There is a minute mint mark on the neck under Liberty’s ear as an identifier. The reverse is rotated 45 degrees CW. MDS. Our grade consistent with the PCGS grade. $35,000

LOT 3 1793 C-2 R3 Liberty Cap, Head Left, F12 PCGS. Dark olive brown and steel with lighter brown toning covering the devices on the reverse. Nicely detailed with a clear date and legends. Fine roughness covers the planchet and shallow verdigris shows in the fields and protected areas. The roughness is strongest on the obverse but the graders at PCGS did not consider it significant enough to assign a Details grade.
