533 Researched Order of Nevsky. Type 3. Award # 18248. Screwback. Rare and unusual variation with serial number at 5 o’clock in 18xxx range, since most such orders are observed in 11xxx-12xxx serial number range. Original silver nut. Comes with copies of official research from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, award card, citation and official decree. Awarded in 1944 to Captain Metlyakov, for his heroism during the crossing of Visla River. Condition: Enamel missing on one of the arms, excellent otherwise with most gold-plating remaining.
