LOT 408 1855 N-9 R-1 EDS VF20. 10 points sharper but there are a couple digs on the rim below 18, hairlines under CENTs that reveals some faint red underneath, and old crud in the reverse protected areas. Only a few trivial marks on the portrait and fields otherwise. Nice medium brown surfaces. EDS before the knob.

LOT 410 1856 N-13 R-1 ANACS AU50. XF sharpness but there are several nicks on the portrait and fields. Glossy medium brown with darker steel splashes on the reverse. Smooth surfaces. MDS, die state c. Our grade is VF35. 1473325

LOT 411 1857 N-1 R-1 PCGS MS61BN CAC. Slightly glossy dark steel with underlying very faded red on both sides. Possibly professionally conserved which may explain the subdued luster on both sides. Just a touch of rub on the high points, and there is a low spot, as struck, stop the ribbon. Our grade is AU55. 1928.61/31494546

LOT 409 Lot of 7 1855 N-9 Die Progression. Lot of 7 1855 N-9 Braided Hair cents with examples of each die state progression from A through G. All grade VG to Fine, some sharper with surface issues and marks. Two are holdered, PCGS VF Details Cleaned die state a, and PCGS VG Details Rim Damage die state g. Inspection Recommended.
