LOT 340 1811 S-287 R-2 ELECTROTYPE VF20. VF25 but lightly granular surfaces with micro-porosity at star 1 and STA in STATES. Mostly olive gray with dark brown on some high points. An interesting electrotype copy of an 1811 Classic Head.

LOT 344 1812 S-289 R-1 Large Date VG10. VF25 sharpness but lightly corroded with fine roughness on the obverse, stronger on the reverse. Slightly glossy dark olive brown with dark steel on the devices and legends. Free of notable marks. EDS.

LOT 341 1812 S-288 R-2 Large Date VG10. F15 sharpness but there are old scratches along the bottom obverse, a few tiny nicks above the portrait, and light pitting around the reverse peripheries. Glossy dark brown and charcoal surfaces with lighter brown on the devices and some fields. MDS. Bold date and legends.

LOT 345 1812 S-291 R-2 Small Date F15. AU50 sharpness but corroded with granular surfaces and a dark charcoal patina. Free of notable marks. MDS, with the dash under the left side of E in ONE and faint die cracks from the date through the stars on both sides.

LOT 346 1813 S-292 R-2 Distant Star VF25. Mottled light to medium browns and dark chocolate. There is a horizontal nick under E in ONE, a tiny mark before the nose, and another tiny mark left of star 10, all trivial. LDS, Breen state V. Smooth, glossy surfaces.

LOT 342 1812 S-289 R-1 Large Date VF25. Nicely retoned and now light to medium brown with dark steel in the protected areas. LDS, Breen state IV with strong clash marks on the reverse. Smooth, glossy surfaces free of notable marks.

LOT 347 1813 S-292 R-2 Distant Star F15+. VF25+ but there is minor verdigris all around the obverse protected areas. Now mostly ruddy chocolate and maroon on the obverse fields and protected areas, with olive brown on the high points. The reverse is uniform chocolate brown. LDS, Breen state V.

LOT 343 1812 S-289 R-1 Large Date F12. Olive brown and dark steel with a bit of crud in some protected areas, mostly on the reverse. Otherwise the only marks are minor nicks before the nose and chin. Bold date and legends.
