LOT 86 1811 C-2 R-3 VF30. Glossy, pleasing olive and chocolate browns with lighter brown along the right stars. No verdigris, with only the most trivial of marks, a trivial tick on the dentils between stars 5-6 and another above the first A in AMERICA the best identifying. MDS, Manley state 2.0. Smooth, glossy surfaces.

LOT 90 1828 C-2 R-2 12 Stars. Attractive olive and tan browns. Just a touch dirty on the reverse, could use a proper brushing. Otherwise frosty, lustrous surfaces with only the most trivial of marks, nothing noteworthy.

LOT 87 1811 C-2 R-3 VG8. A few points sharper but there is light micro granularity on the surfaces and faint hairlines on both sides, most notably across the portrait. Two tone dark brown in the fields, lighter medium brown on the devices which contrasts nicely. UNITED is a bit weaker but fully readable, the remaining date and legends bold.

LOT 91 Trio of Classic Head Half Cents 1828 & 1834. Trio of Classic Head Half Cents. Includes an 1828 C-2 graded XF40 net F12 for surface roughness, and two 1834 C-1s both graded XF40 net VF35 for micro granularity.

LOT 88 1825 C-1 R-3 XF40. AU sharpness but cleaned and retoned olive brown with blue overtones. Only a few trivial marks in the fields on each side, most notably a wispy pin scratch under the stem. Otherwise smooth, glossy surfaces.

LOT 92 1855 C-1 R-1 AU58. Frosty, choice light brown surfaces with a few tiny dark spots over star 11. Only some of the most trivial of marks visible under a glass, nothing noteworthy or distracting. Frosty luster covers the surfaces of both sides.

LOT 89 1826 C-1 R-1 AU50. Frosty golden olive “greenie” like obverse with deeper steel on the cheek and around star 2. The reverse is very faded mint color mellow down to live and deeper steel tones. Frosty, lustrous surfaces.

LOT 93 1857 C-1 R-1 XF45. AU sharpness but lightly cleaned and now toned deep olive with hints of faded mint red in some of the protected areas. The only notable mark is a dull, diagonal scratch above L in HALF. Smooth, glossy surfaces with hints of luster in the reverse protected areas.
