LOT 41 1916 McKinley Gold $1 NGC UNC Details (Obv Scratched). Frosty and lustrous with a small scratch in the left obverse field. These gold dollars were struck to help raise fund for a memorial to the martyred president, who was assassinated in 1901. Designed by Charles E. Barber and George T. Morgan. LOT 43 1807 $5 Gold Draped Bust Left, NGC AU Details, Removed from Jewelry. An attractive piece with bold details and traces of mint frost in protected areas. Lightly cleaned, basically just rubbed to highlight the devices. Some of the dentils are weak or missing which suggests mounting for use in jewelry, but there is no evidence of solder being removed. 4685231-003
