Terry Denman Collection of Middle Dates Part 1

THE TERRY DENMAN COLLECTION

LOT 92 1820 N-15 R2 Small Date, NGC graded MS63 Brown . Lustrous medium steel brown. The surfaces are satiny and the only notable marks are a small nick over the left side of the 2 and a couple small splashes of reddish brown toning at S-O, and those areas contain traces of microscopic roughness. LDS, die state b, with die rust on the portrait and elsewhere on the reverse. Most likely from the Randall Hoard of mint state cents. Our grade is MS60. 3443256-006

LOT 93 1821 N-1 R1 PCGS graded AU50, CAC Approved . Glossy steel brown and chocolate mottled with lighter brown and tan on the obverse. Smooth with light wear, mint frost in protected areas, and trivial marks. A nick-like planchet chip left of star 7 and a tiny dig on the left pendant of the T in UNITED are the best identification marks, and they are barely visible. EDS, die state a, before any crumbling in the dentils or die cracks. A nice cent. Our grade is EF40. 36706.50/15378547
