LOT 232 1810 S-282 R-2 PCGS XF40. Medium chocolate brown on hard, smooth surfaces. The obverse if free of notable marks while there are some trivial marks on the central reverse above C in CENT and N in ONE. Good eye appeal. Our grade is VF30. 36475.40/35044209

LOT 229 Pair of 1810 Cents. Includes S-282 R2 VF25 net VG7 for pits and digs, and S-284 R3 G5 net G4 for light corrosion. Lot of 2 coins.

LOT 233 1810 S-285 R-2 PCGS AU55 CAC Approved. Attractive frosty light to medium chocolate brown. The only notable marks are a barely visible nick on the jawline on the front edge of the neck and a planchet chip on the rim over the upright of the E in STATES. Flowline luster covers the protected areas on both sides, excellent eye appeal. Our grade is EF40. M-LDS, Breen State III with dull die cracks on the obverse and die clash marks on the reverse. The attribution and Fricke provenance are noted on the PCGS label. 36484.55/81726524

LOT 230 1810 S-283 R2 NGC graded AU53. Rather frosty dark olive brown and steel with lighter toning on the highpoints of the reverse from a light cleaning. Nicely detailed with light wear on the devices but the lower half of the obverse is covered with hairline scratches. There is a dull rim nick at the top of the obverse and another at D-S. The best identifying mark is a narrow planchet fissure along the dentil tips below the 181 (as struck). M-LDS, Breen state III, with die failure at the dentils from star 4 to the top of the obverse. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net VF35. 3906690-001

Ex; Fricke Color Collection

LOT 234 1810 S-285 R2 VF20+. Sharpness EF40 but there are patches of hard verdigris on the lower half of the reverse. The rest of the planchet is smooth with attractive frosty light olive and steel brown toning with golden tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. The only contact marks are a collection of tick ticks hidden in the hair near the ear. M-LDS, Breen state III, with flowlined fields.

(includes the Birkler and Empire Coin Company envelopes) LOT 231 Pair of 1810 & 1811 Cents. Includes 1810 S-284 R3 VG10 net G6 for scratches, and 1811/10 S-286 R3 Overdate 11 over 10 G5 net G4 for granularity and stains. Both have a clear date. Lot of 2 coins.
