LOT 188 1801 S-219 R2 3-Error Reverse, NGC graded F12. Glossy light olive brown and chocolate. Smooth with trivial marks, just worn. A few ticks on the lower part of the neck are the only defects. MDS, Breen state IV, with a single die crack on the reverse. All 3 of the die-cutter errors on the reverse are visible. Our grade is VG10+. An attractive lower grade example of this popular “Redbook” variety. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. 3608045-005

LOT 190 1802 S-226 R3 VG10. Sharpness VF20 with very fine roughness over much of the planchet, strongest at the upper part of the obverse. No verdigris or notable marks. Slightly glossy dark chocolate brown and steel. EDS. There is a curved planchet clip over OF that does not reach the letters.

LOT 191 1802 S-227 R2 PCGS graded AU50. Frosty medium chocolate brown with lighter brown in protected areas on the reverse and a swipe of slightly darker chocolate across the neck into the field close over the bust. An attractive cent with trivial marks. The notable defects are a barely visible spot of microscopic roughness off the curl below the hair ribbon, a tiny scratch at the top of the E in STATES, and a few microscopic specks of light greenish verdigris on the right side of the reverse. MDS, Breen state II, with clear die clashmarks on the obverse. Our grade is EF45 net EF40. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. 36296.50/12597326

LOT 189 Trio of 1801 Cents with Error Reverses. Includes S-219 R2 Three-Error Reverse EDS G4 net Fair-2 for corrosion (all 3 of the errors are visible), S-221 R2 Corrected Denominator 100 over 000 VF25 net VG7 for corrosion, and S-223 R1 Error Fraction 1/000 VG10 net VG7 for scratches. All the errors are clear. Lot of 3 coins.
