LOT 140 1793 S-8 R-3 Vine & Bars Edge Wreath Cent F12. A few points sharper with a handful of trivial pits on the right obverse, as well as traces of old verdigris on the lower reverse around the ribbon. There are also a couple minor rim nicks on the lower reverse, a scuff over UNI, and a shallow cut on the edge at N in UNI. Otherwise smooth, semi-glossy obverse with full date and legends.

LARGE CENTS 

LOT 137 1793 S-2 R-4+ Without Periods Chain Cent VG10. A couple points sharper with microgranularity on the surfaces. Mostly olive and steel browns with hints of lighter tan on the portrait. The only marks is a dull, diagonal nick under F in OF and a couple minor marks on the rims over both the first and last S in STATES. Full date and legends.

LOT 141 1793 S-11c R-3- Lettered Edge Wreath Cent VG7. A few points sharper with various rim bruises along either side. There are also a few faint hairline scratches in the left obverse field, and some trivial ticks in front of the chin, on the lower hair, and under 3 of the date. Tan and steel brown “wood grain” toning on smooth, semiglossy surfaces. Full date and legends, Vine & Bars Edge with single leaf after DOLLAR.

LOT 138 1793 S-4 R-3 With Periods Chain Cent VG7. A point sharper with light microgranularity on the surfaces. Intermingled medium and steel browns on the obverse, the reverse a lighter tan and steel browns. The periods after LIBERTY and the date are easily identifiable, and the usual die cracks on the lower left obverse are present.

LOT 142 1794 S-20b R5 Head of 1794 Basal State-1. The obverse is better with a complete, clear date and much of LIBERTY visible, but the reverse essentially is void of details. The planchet is covered with roughness, strongest on the reverse. The edge lettering is complete and clear. No verdigris or contact marks. A mix of chocolate and olive brown.

LOT 139 1793 S-5 R-4 Vine & Bars Edge Wreath Cent VG8. A few points sharper with a handful of scattered digs and specks of old verdigris on either side, most notably bheind the hair and o neither side of LIBERTY. Full date excep the very bottom of 3, full legends, the only variety of Wreath cents with large LIBERTY.
