TNA HOF Collection Pt 1
LOT 1269 1849 N-3 R3+ EF40. Five points sharper with a chip out of the rim over the first A in AMERICA (as struck). Glossy chocolate and olive brown with lighter brown on the highpoints. LDS, die state v, with a v-shaped crumble at the upper junction of the N & T in CENT in addition to other crumbling and swelling.
RED & BROWN N-4
Ex Tom Hart-Fred H. Borcherdt Collection
LOT 1270 1849 N-4 R1 MS60. A sharp, attractive cent with about 25% of the mint red remaining, but both sides show many fine hairlines under magnification. No spots or other marks, and the eye appeal of this cent is quite nice. Sharply struck M-LDS, die state c early. The die lines at UN are weak but still visible and the crack at UNITED is present in addition to the earlier cracks of state b. All the cracks are very fine. A choice cent except for the hairlines.

CONDITION CENSUS N-5
LOT 1271 1849 N-5 R4- PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Frosty light olive and steel with traces of very faded mint red on the reverse. Satiny and attractive with no spots or stains. The only notable marks are a line of microscopic pinpricks in the field before the mouth, and it takes a strong glass to see them. Sharply struck MDS, die state d late, with a small but strong cud break on the rim at the bottom of the reverse. A superior example of this tough variety. Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#4 in the Grellman census. The attribution and Iskra Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. (The front of the holder is scratched.) 405646.63/81014432
