LOT 19 1798 S-154 R4 Large 8, Style I Hair G4. Glossy steel brown and chocolate. Smooth and free of defects, just worn. LDS with extensive swelling on both sides, especially on the reverse, that obliterates many of the devices and parts of the legend. The date is strong. Very nice for the grade.

LOT 22 Pair of 1798 Cents with Style I Hair. Includes S-154 R4+ Large 8 LDS with strong swelling on the reverse AG3, and S-163 R4 Small 8 E-MDS AG3. Both are brown and chocolate with a readable date. Lot of 2 coins.

LOT 20 Pair of 1798 Cents with Style I Hair. Includes S-154 R4+ Large 8 LDS G4, and S-157 R2 Small 8 E-MDS G6 net G5 for minor roughness. Both are rather glossy brown and chocolate with a clear date. Lot of 2 coins.

LOT 23 1798 S-156 R5 Small 8, Style I Hair with Reverse of 1796 AG3. A couple points sharper on the obverse but covered with very fine porosity. No verdigris. The only marks are a small rim bruise over the R in LIBERTY, a thin cut at the dentils over ME, and a rim nick at the first S in STATES. Steel brown and chocolate. MDS, Breen state II, with a light die crack at the bust. The date is bold and about half the legends remain readable. The single leaves at the top of the wreath are clear (Reverse of 1796).

LOT 21 Pair of 1798 Cents with Style I Hair. Includes S-154 R4+ Large 8 LDS with heavy swelling on the reverse G4 net AG3 for minor roughness, and S-161 R2 Small 8 LDS with die cracks and a strong cud break at ATES G4. Both are brown and chocolate with a clear date. Lot of 2 coins.
