LOT 321 1843 N-3 R3 Type of 1842 EF40. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Smooth and attractive, just lightly worn. The fields are satiny and there are no notable marks. LDS, die state c.

LOT 318 Pair of 1840 Cents. Includes N-3 R1 Small Date LDS (c) EF45 net VF25 for microscopic porosity, and N-8 R1 Large Date LDS (d) EF45 net VF30 for nicks and a rim bruise. Both are glossy brown and chocolate. Lot of 2 coins.

LOT 322 1843 N-9 R3 Type of 1842 with Repunched 84 AU50. Frosty light chocolate and steel. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has great eye appeal. No marks or other defects, just light friction on the highpoints. LDS, die state c, with several small rim cud breaks on the obverse. The repunching on the 84 is visible.

LOT 319 1842 N-5 R3 Large Date EF45. Sharpness near mint state but cleaned and retoning steel brown with lots of red visible on both sides, especially on the reverse. The fields are satiny and lustrous. Sharply struck EDS, die state a. Deserves a proper retoning.

LOT 323 1843 N-11 R2 Type of 1842 EF40. Frosty medium steel brown and light chocolate. Smooth and choice, just lightly worn. A very thin streak of darker coning right of star 2 can help identify this cent. E-MDS, die state b. There is a clashmark at the inner curl but the reverse is uncracked.
