S-196 WITH UNLISTED RIM BREAK

LOT 266 1800/179 S-196 R1 Overdate 180 over 179 F15 Glossy chocolate and olive brown with lighter steel toning in some of the protected areas, mostly inside the wreath. The surfaces are decent but there is some minor roughness in protected areas on the reverse. There is a very dull scratch or scrape across the neck and a planchet chip left of OF. LDS, Breen state III late. A strong die crack extends down through the E into the head and there is an unlisted cud break under the 80. The cud is clearly defined and it reaches slightly inside the dentils in an area between the two digits. $1,250
