1797 S-142 R5+ Fair-2 Very slightly sharper on the obverse but there are numerous shallow pits or planchet chips on both sides, the largest of these in the field off the chin. LOT 191 1797 S-143 R5 Stemless Wreath VG10 Five points sharper but there are four dull scratches in the field close over the bust, a shallow scuff that breaks the toning on the lower part of the neck, and a dull scratch along the bottom of LIB. Mostly smooth but there are a couple areas of minor roughness, particularly in the field before the nose. Retoned a rather glossy dark steel and olive brown. MDS. The date is bold and the legends are strong. The Stemless Wreath feature is obvious. $250
