LOT 321 1802 S-235 R3 F15 Mostly glossy olive and steel brown with reddish brown toning in protected areas, mostly on the obverse. Mostly smooth and the eye appeal is quite nice for the grade, but there is microscopic roughness in some protected areas on the obverse, mostly behind the head. No notable marks. EDS+, Breen state II, with die clashmarks at the throat but none at RTY. Removed from an NGC slab graded VF25. $750

LOT 322

1802 S-235 R3 VG8 A few points sharper but covered with microscopic roughness under slightly glossy olive brown and chocolate toning. There are myriad fine scratches on the lower half of the portrait and a dull scrape in the leaves right of the T in CENT, all old and blended into the toning. EDS+, Breen state II, with clashmarks at the throat. $150
