Lot 13 1808 S-278 R-3 VG10. A couple points sharper but there is light corrosion on the reverse as well as a small spot on the upper obverse. Otherwise medium brown to dark brown surfaces with lighter steel on some devices. There is a hairline scratch at the shoulder, trivial nicks in the fields including one over T in CENT, and a rim nick at T in UNITED. Lot 14 1808 S-278 R-3 PCGS XF Detail (Graffiti). There are a few faint obverse scratches that earned the “Graffiti” distinction by PCGS, but most blend in well. Otherwise medium brown color with only couple trivial marks. Smooth, glossy surfaces. E-MDS, Breen State III, Smith State 3. $ 1,950
