LOT 380 1853 N-13 R1 Repunched 1 ANACS graded MS62 Red & Brown . Lustrous light olive and steel brown with about 20% of the planchet showing mint color. Sharply struck and the only mark is a spot of very fine carbon over star 10. MDS, die state b, with flowlined fields. The earlier points on the E in CENT are gone but the repunching at the bottom of the 1 remains clear. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Certificate #7341060

LOT 379 1852 N-3 R1 ANACS graded AU58 . Frosty light steel brown with subtle overtones of light bluish steel on the obverse. Choice except for a small spot of raised corrosion at the tip of the wreath ribbon. E-MDS, die state b, with a die crack at TE in UNITED into the wreath. The reverse is rotated 45 degrees CCW relative to the normal head-to foot die orientation. The “Rotated Dies” feature is noted on the ANACS label. Our grade is AU55 sharpness net AU50. SHARP EARLY STATE 1854 N-2

LOT 381 1854 N-2 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown . Lustrous light golden olive with underlying mellowed mint red covering a third of the obverse and 10% of the reverse. The only marks are a curved struck-through line on the right side of star 6 and a small tick on the rim over the I in AMERICA. Sharply struck everywhere except for the coronet over LI, far better than most of this variety. Our grade is MS60+. Certificate #1904.64/26530463

LOT 382 1854 N-2 R1 EF40 . Slightly sharper but weakly struck on the tip of the coronet, as usual for this variety. Glossy steel brown with frosty tan in protected areas. The only mark is a small nick under star 5. MDS, die state b. The early die line at the bottom of the N in ONE is gone.
