LOT 127 1804 C-6 R2 Spiked Chin VG10 . Five points sharper with myriad hairline scratches on the portrait, all lost in the glossy light olive and steel brown toning. A tiny planchet chip in the hair left of the eye can help identify this piece. M-LDS, Manley state 9.5, Fuhrman state 13, with strong cud breaks on the reverse.

LOT 128 1804 C-9 R2 Crosslet 4 with Stems PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved . Lustrous tan and light brown with slightly darker olive on the left side of the obverse. A small puff of darker steel brown toning in the field over the end of the bust is the best identifying mark. Looks mint state and the eye appeal is quite nice (hence the CAC certification), but there is a hint of friction on the highest points of the devices. Just trivial contact marks, mostly in the field before the portrait, none visible to the unaided eye. EDS but not quite the earliest, Manley state 1.0, Fuhrman 2.0, with die clashmarks on the reverse. Our grade is AU55. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Certificate #35155.58/15457177

LOT 129 1804 C-13 R1 Plain 4, No Stems G5 . Sharpness at least F12 but corroded on the left part of both sides. No verdigris or significant marks. Rather glossy chocolate brown. The date is strong as are most of the legends. CERTIFIED 1805 SMALL 5 WITH STEMS

LOT 130 1805 C-3 R4 Small 5 with Stems PCGS graded F15 . Steel brown and chocolate. The surfaces are smooth but the gloss is subdued thanks to a layer of natural oxidation. The only notable defects are a dull nick under the front edge of the eye and a minor spot of reddish carbon on a leaf below the first A in AMERICA. This piece just needs a proper brushing to bring out its underlying beauty. MDS, Manley state 2.0, with obvious swelling in the field before the portrait and the usual strike weakness inside the wreath. Our grade is F12, perhaps a bit better after that brushing. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Certificate #35185.15/13051693
