1871 California Gold Quarter Dollar Breen/ Gillio-767 PCGS graded MS63 . Octagonal type with a Large Liberty Head; Value and CAL in Wreath. The fields are slightly prooflike and the only mark is a tiny scratch at the top of the obverse. Both sides show fine die cracks. A nice example of this popular type. Listed on page 419 of the 2023 “Redbook.”
