LOT 258 1789 Mott Token, Thick Planchet with Plain Edge, Breen-1020, PCGS graded AU53 . Frosty light olive with steel brown toning on the highpoints. No defects, just light friction on the highpoints. M-LDS with a smaller cud break at the left top of the clock and die rust evident in the fields. Struck slightly off center to the top with the reverse rotated 150 degrees clockwise. Listed on page 72 in the “Redbook.”. Certification Number 603.53/04430684

LOT 255 1789 Mott Token, Thin Planchet with Plain Edge, Breen-1021, PCGS graded VF35 . Glossy light to medium chocolate. Smooth with moderate wear. The only defects are traces of glue on the clock side and a pair of planchet clips, both minor end-of-strip flaws. EDS. Struck with the reverse rotated 100 degrees clockwise. No defects, just light friction on the devices. LDS with a large cud break at the left top of the clock and die rust in the fields. Struck with the reverse rotated 160 degrees clockwise. LOT 259 (1792-94) Kentucky Cent with Lancaster Edge, Breen-1156, W-8810 R5, PCGS graded AU55 . Frosty dark olive brown and steel mottled with lighter brown. Satiny with just a hint of rub on the highpoints. There are a few inconspicuous specks of crud or verdigris on the obverse, mostly at the H in THE. Listed on page 73 in the “Redbook.”. Essentially flawless with light friction on the devices. LDS with a large cud break at the left top of the clock and die rust in the fields. Struck with the reverse rotated 30 degrees CCW. LOT 260 1794 Franklin Press Token with Plain Edge, Breen-1165, W-8850 R1, PCGS graded AU58 . Frosty steel brown with faded mint color in protected areas on the obverse (press side). Just a hint of rub on the highest points of the devices. The only notable defect is a collection of small pre striking planchet chips at the R in FRANKLIN. LDS with a cud break in the center of the press and a smaller one off the right base of the press. Listed on page 74 in the “Redbook.” (Inserted into the PCGS holder upside down.).
