LOT 283 1832 Overton-118 Small Letters R1 AU55. Lustrous light silvery gray with hints of bluish steel toning in protected areas. Nicely struck with a hint of friction on the highest points and no notable marks. An attractive piece with mint state eye appeal.

LOT 286 1833 Overton-108 R1 PCGS AU58. Frosty silver with light champagne toning on the obverse and bright luster in protected areas on the reverse. A spot of dark toning nestled under the Y in LIBERTY is the only mark. MDS with flowlined fields and swelling in the field under the chin. 59098140

LOT 284 1833 Overton-101 R1 G5. Smooth but lightly cleaned. There are light scratches in the field behind the portrait and above the eagle’s head plus a dull pinch on the rim at stars 9-10.

LOT 287 1834 Overton-103 R2 Large Date & Letters PCGS XF45. A sharp piece with nice eye appeal but there is a diagonal scratch on the cheek and neck and a small planchet chip on a curl over the clasp (as struck). The reverse is flawless. Frosty silver and light grayish steel with luster in protected areas and light friction on the highpoints. 59098141
LOT 285 1833 Overton-102 R1 PCGS AU55. Attractive and lustrous, very close to mint state with great eye appeal, but there are a few hairline scratches on the neck plus a small scratch on the eyebrow. Otherwise choice. Overtones of light bluish steel and champagne add to the eye appeal. MDS with fine radial die flowlines, but the repunching on star 1 remains visible. 59098139
