LOT 350 1809 S-280 R2 PCGS graded XF45 . Glossy medium olive brown and chocolate with frost in the fields and protected areas. Smooth and very attractive with light friction on the highpoints and trivial marks. A pair of tiny, barely visible hairline scratches under the E in ONE are the only notable defects. MDS, Breen state VI, with cracks at the top of the wreath and fine die clashmarks on both sides. A very attractive cent. Our grade is EF40+ , close to EF45. 36466.45/61275952

LOT 351 1810/09 S-281 R1 Overdate 10 over 09, PCGS graded AU55 . Very attractive frosty mix of chocolate and olive brown with lighter brown in protected areas. Smooth with very light friction on the highpoints and great eye appeal. The only defect is a collection of tiny pinpricks around the 8 in the date, and these do not catch your eye. LDS, Breen state IV early, with flowlines and dull die clashmarks. The overdate feature is strong. Graded EF45 net EF40 and tied for CC#20 in the Noyes census, his photo #33129. Our grade is EF40+ 36469.55/52084635
