LOT 348 1808 S-278 R3 VF20 . Glossy olive brown with light brown in the fields and protected areas, especially on the reverse. The toning on the obverse is uneven but the reverse is quite attractive with flowline luster in the fields and protected areas. The only notable marks are a pair of very light hairline scratches from the eye to the Y and a stronger one from the end of the nose towards star 6. M-LDS, Breen state VI, with flowlined fields on both sides.

LOT 349 1808 S-279 R1 F15 . Sharpness VF30 with fine granularity covering the fields and protected areas, all under partly glossy dark olive brown and steel toning. No marks or verdigris. MDS with worn dies and no dentils remaining on the reverse. Struck with the obverse slightly misaligned to K-3.
