PARTIAL DOUBLE PROFILE

LOT 245 1800/79 S-194 R3 Style II Hair, Overdate 80 over 79 EF45 . Glossy brown and light olive with speckles of darker olive brown on the obverse. Sharply struck with just a light touch of friction on the highpoints. Only minor marks including a thin nick off the upper end of the hair ribbon, a nick on the shoulder, and a small chip low on the neck. The fields are hard and slightly reflective but they do show extremely faint hairlines if you get the light at just the right angle. E-MDS, Breen state III, with a very light die crack through CA and the fraction bar to under the left end of the ribbon where it fades out. A double profile shows on the forehead, lips, chin, and neck. Not seen by Bland or Noyes.
