LOT 558 1850 N-21 R2 MS64. Lustrous mint red fading to steel brown with mellowed mint red covering a third of the planchet. The surfaces are satiny and virtually flawless. The surfaces are completely void of spots or carbon flecks. Worthy of gem status if not for the small mint-made planchet flake. LDS, die state c, with two clearly defined rim cuds on the reverse (Newcomb’s #10).
