LOT 704 1855 N-7 R1 Upright 55 MS64+. Lustrous light olive and steel brown with about 20% of the planchet showing mellowed mint red, mostly on the reverse. Satiny and nearly flawless with sharp details and great eye appeal. A short struck-through depression on the rim under star 2 and a speck of dark crud near the hair under the right side of star 7 are the only marks. E-MDS, die state b late. The fields are very lightly flowlined and the center dot on the reverse is gone. The fine die crack at UNI is faint. A very nice cent, finest known in the Grellman census.

LOT 705 1855 N-7 R1 Upright 55 AU50. Glossy medium brown with underlying frost in the fields and protected areas. Smooth and nearly flawless with very light wear on the devices. A small mark on the rim over the F in OF and some soft verdigris in the wreath below the second S in STATES are the only notable defects..

LOT 706 1855 N-8 R2 Upright 55 AU58. Lustrous reddish brown and steel with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. Very close to mint state with excellent eye appeal. A small rim nick under star 1 and another at star 3 are the only notable marks. MDS, die state b. The fields are flowlined, the die lines up from TATE are gone, and the field is starting to rise around the legend outside the wreath. Removed from an NGC holder graded MS64BN (NGC label #1821483-004 included).
