LOT 921 1857 N-1 R1 Large Date, Stray 1 in Dentils EF40+. Choice glossy light to medium brown with frost in protected areas. Smooth with minor marks and very nice eye appeal. Two tiny ticks left of the chin and another under the end of the chin are the best identifying marks. M-LDS, die state b. The early die lines on the reverse are gone and the top of the stray 1 in the dentils under the left side of the 8 is dull.

LOT 924 Group of 11 Cents 1840-1843 F12. All are Petite Heads with decent surfaces and glossy brown and chocolate toning. Some are slightly sharper with minor defects but all are attributed to the Newcomb die variety. Lot of 11 coins.

LOT 922 1857 N-4 R1 Small Date EF45+. Very attractive glossy light to medium brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. Smooth and choice, essentially void of defects, with light wear and great eye appeal. A small spot of darker brown toning off the tip of the coronet is a good identifying mark. MDS, die state b. The early die line at star 1 is gone.

LOT 925 Group of 10 Cents 1844-1846 F12. Some are sharper with minor defects but all are decent and attributed to the Newcomb die variety. Mostly glossy brown and chocolate. Lot of 10 coins.

LOT 926 Group of 10 Cents 1846-1848 F12. Some are sharper with minor defects but all are decent and attributed to the Newcomb die variety. Mostly glossy brown and chocolate. Lot of 10 coins.

LOT 923 1857 N-4 R1 Small Date VF30. At least 10 points sharper but cleaned and retoning steel brown and chocolate. The retoning on the reverse is attractive but significant amounts of underlying faded artificial red remain visible on the obverse. Smooth with just a few small marks including a tick on the coronet over IB. MDS, die state b. The die line at star 1 is gone but the point down from the inner part of the hair bun is clear.
