EARLY CENTS AUCTIONS

 TERMINAL S-257

yes LOT 257 1803 S-257 R2 Large Fraction G5 . The obverse is weaker, the reverse stronger, a result of the very late die state (a 3/7 split). No corrosion or verdigris, just light contact marks. A rim nick at the Y in LIBERTY can help identify this cent. Rare TDS, Breen state V, with a raised retained cud break covering STATES, and the cud caused weakness at the opposing area on the obverse (lower left quadrant).

LOT 259 1803 S-260 R1 Large Fraction VF25 . Sharpness EF45 with a beautiful obverse while the left side of the reverse has light reddish corrosion and verdigris in the fields and protected areas.
