LOT 147 1798 S-157 R-2 AG3. A couple points sharper but lightly corroded with dark scale in some protected areas. Cleaned long ago and now toned lighter brown on the devices, darker in the fields. Partial date and legends.
LOT 148 1798 S-163 R-4 F12+. VF25+ sharpness but there are scattered nicks and light verdigris in the protected areas of either side. The most notable marks include nicks under the chin, one on the bottom neck, another left of O in OF, and vertical hairlines on the portrait. Deep steel and dark olive patina on glossy surfaces. M-LDS Breen state VI. Graded VF30 net VG8 by Noyes, his photo #27223.

RARE TERMINAL DIE STATE
LOT 149 1798 S-165 R-4 AG3. Dark brown and deep maroon patina with traces of old verdigris on the reverse. Otherwise fairly smooth surfaces with some trivial marks consistent with the grade. Rare TDS Breen state III, called CC#2 of the LDS and graded G4 net AG3 by Noyes, his photo #38310.

LOT 151 1798 S-166 R-1 AG3. Good sharpness but there are several notable rim dents on both sides and fine granularity on the reverse. The obverse is smooth with the top half of the date legible and the portrait fully outlined. E-MDS.
LOT 150 1798 S-166 R-1 G4. G6 sharpness but the surfaces are granular. Free of notable marks. Most of LIBERTY is gone but the date and remaining legends are readable. MDS.
