LOT 109 1796 S-103 R-4+ LIBERTY PCGS Genuine. G5 sharpness but there is fine roughness and microporosity in some of the protected areas. There are also a couple notable digs atop TE and right of the last S in STATES, though whatever earned the “RIm Damage” qualifier by PCGS is hidden by the holder. Mottled chocolate and dark brown surfaces. Despite the minor surface issues the date is fully readable, as are most of the legends. Our grade is AG3. Certificate # 1413.98/16126750
LOT 112 1796 S-110 R-3 PCGS F Details (Env. Damage). VG10 sharpness but there is fine roughness and microporosity on the surfaces. There are also horizontal hairline scratches across the portrait, the most notable through the neck into the right field and a diagonal one on the central reverse right of ONE CENT. Olive brown, dark chocolate, and dark steel patina. Bold date and LIBERTY, full reverse legends. Our grade is VG7. Certificate # 1404.97/28452507

LOT 113 1796 S-110 R-3 G4. VG sharpness but the surfaces are porous and slightly smoothed. Now a medium brown and deep steel patina on glossy surfaces. Strong date and LIBERTY.
LOT 110 1796 S-103 R-4+ LIHERTY ANACS AG3. Pleasing chocolate brown surfaces. There is a notable nick at the top of the wreath, another on the lower right wreath under RI in AMERICA, and hairline scratch through the bust tip into the right field. Trivial marks otherwise, fairly smooth surfaces. The date is weak but readable in hand. Strong LIHERTY. Certificate Number# 7686449

LOT 111 1796 S-104 R-3 LIHERTY ANACS F15 Details (Corroded). F15 sharpness but the surfaces are porous and cleaned. Now toned mostly deep steel brown with bluish steel and very faded red brown tones on the high points. There are also several nicks on the throat and bust tip. Strong date and legends, clear LIHERTY error. Our grade is G5. Certificate Number# 7686447

LOT 115 1796 S-112 R-4+ G6. VG10 sharpness but corroded with fine roughness and very light microporosity on the surfaces, as well as old verdigris in some of the protected areas. Glossy deep steel and dark brown surfaces. Full date and LIBERTY, M-LDS with the central bulging obliterating ONE CENT but peripheral legends remain readable.
