LOT 229 1853 N-32 R-4+ ANACS VF30 . Attractive light brown with grainy, dark crud built up in most of the protected areas. There are trivial nicks scattered on either side, nothing noteworthy or distracting. Smooth, glossy surfaces. M-LDS(c). Our grade is VF20 . Certificate# 7330849
LOT 225 1853 N-13 R-1 ANACS EF45 . Olive nad light brown toning, the obverse mostly the former while the reverse is mostly the latter. Free of notable marks. MDS(b). Our grade is XF 40. Certificate# 7341320
LOT 230 Group of 6 Braided Hair Cents 1852-1854 . Group of 6 Braided Hair Cents including an 1852 N-10, 1852 N-14, 1852 N-16, 1852 N-18, 1854 N-1, and 1854 N-23. All grades VG to Fine.
LOT 226 1853 N-17 R-2 ANACS EF40 . Attractive light brown with a couple subtle deeper brown toning streaks across the obverse. There is a dull mark on the jawline and another in front of the neck. Smooth, glossy surfaces. M-LDS(b). Our grade is VF35. Certificate# 5299552
LOT 231 1854 N-11 R-2 ANACS MS61BN . Frosty dark chocolate and olive browns. There is one tiny nick left of star 8, trivial but the only mark. There is also a micro planchet clip on the dentils just left of 1 in the date, mirrored on the other side over A in STATES. Subtle mint frost covers the surfaces. LDS(c). Our grade is AU55. LOT 227 1853 N-31 R-4 ANACS EF45 . Light chocolate brown with hints of mellowed tan in some of the protected areas. There is a tiny, old oxidation spot on the rim near star 6 and several small nicks scattered on the rims and surfaces, most notably one on the edge under 8 and a pin prick atop the last S in STATES. MDS(b). Our grade is VF35+. Certificate# 7330850
LOT 232 1854 N-11 R-2 ANACS EF45 . Attractive tan brown with traces of grainy crud in some protected areas, particularly around LIBERTY and A in STATES. Smooth, glossy surfaces. M-LDS(b). Our grade is XF45. Certificate# 7605489
LOT 228 1853 N-31 R-4 VF25 . Semi-glossy medium brown with traces of dark crud in some reverse protected areas. The only marks are a couple trivial nicks left of star 7 and on the rim above star 8. E-MDS. Smooth surfaces.
LOT 233 1854 N-13 R-4 ANACS AU50 . Glossy light brown with deeper ruddy brown in some proteted areas. There are a couple spots of microscopic roughness visible under a glass over N in ONE and between the E and OF that blends in well around the wreath. There are also 2 small rim bruises between stars 3-4 and 10-11. Otherwise smooth, glossy surfaces. Our grade is XF40+ . Certificate# 5299536
