LOT 216 1851 N-38 R-1 ANACS EF40 . Glossy light brown and light steel with a dark stain at the lower right wreath. There are trivial marks on the devices and fields, and several nicks and bumps around the obverse rims. Smooth surfaces. E-MDS(a). Our grade is VF30 . Certificate# 6241451

LOT 221 1853 N-4 R-3+ ANACS VF30 . Glossy medium olive with hints of lighter ruddy brown on the reverse. There is a reverse lamination along the wreath under MERIC, and a horizontal nick under N in CENT. Trivial marks otherwise, smooth surfaces. E-MDS(b). Our grade is VF25. Certificate# 5299554

LOT 217 1851 N-41 R-4 ANACS VF35 . Attractive light brown with subtle bluish steel toning. There are a few light, old pin scratches on the obverse and dark crud nestled within the protected areas on the reverse. Otherwise smooth, glossy surfaces. LDS(c ). Our grade is VF30. Certificate# 7605509

LOT 222 1853 N-8 R-3 ANACS VF30 . Glossy pale light brown with darke rbrown in some fields and protected areas. There are also traces of grainy crud built up in some of the protected areas. Otherwise smooth surfaces, free of notable marks. MDS(b). Our grade is consistent with ANACS, VF30. Certificate# 7341321

LOT 218 1852 N-16 R-1 ANACS AU53 . Rather glossy light brown mottled with dark brown spots. There is a tiny rim bump between stars 6 and 7 hidden well by the holder, but otherwise free of notable marks. EDS(a). Our grade is XF45+ . Certificate# 7605441

LOT 223 1853 N-11 R-2 ANACS VF35 . Olive and steel browns with trivial marks on the portrait and fields as well as a nick on the rim over I in AMERICA. E-MDS(b). Our grade is VF30. Certificate# 5299518

LOT 219 1852 N-22 R-1 ANACS MS60 Details (Rim Bumps) . UNC sharpness and a choice frosty light brown with traces of mint red in some reverse protected areas. There are also traces of grainy crud in some protected areas, and a few minor rim bumps on the reverse well hidden by the holder that were apparently enough to earn the Details distinction by ANACS. Lustrous surfaces, MDS(b) late. Our grade is AU50. Certificate# 7605437

LOT 224 1853 N-12 R-2 ANACS AU50 . Semi-glossy light brown and light olive. There are a couple dull marks before the nose and two specks of old, inert verdigris nestled under the wreath above N and E in ONE. Smooth surfaces otherwise. MDS(b). Our grade is XF45. Certificate# 5299540
