LOT 83

1796 S-94 R-5+ Reverse of 1794 AG3+ . A couple points sharper but the surfaces are porous and granular. Deep olive patina with some minor scratches in the left obverse field and rim nicks at the bust tip and E in UNITED. Other than TES OF and the bottom half of the digits, the legends and date are readable.

LOT 86

1796 S-98 R-4 Reverse of 1795 VG10 . VF25 sharpness but lightly corroded with fine roughness on the surfaces and traces of verdigris in some protected areas. There is a hairline scratch in the left obverse field below the hair braid and a few minor nicks along the rims. Full date and legends.

LOT 84

1796 S-94 R-5+ Reverse of 1794 AG3 . Glossy medium brown and dark chocoalte with a few spots of fine roughness along the front of the portrait and on the neck. The notable marks include dull scratches behind the hair braid, behind the lowest hair curl, and through CENT. Worn but readable date and legends.

LOT 87

1796 S-99 R-5 Reverse of 1795 AG3 . Semi-glossy pale olive and chocoalte browns. The notable marks are a dull scratch over the hair braid, a nick right of Y in LIBERTY, and a small dig betwen C & E in CENT. EDS Breen state I. Well worn, particularly around the peripheries, but the date, LIBERTY, ONE CENT, and UNITED remain readable with partial legends otherwise.

LOT 85

1796 S-95 R-5+ Reverse of 1795 G6 . VG sharpness but fine granularity covers the surfaces, more so on the reverse, with rimmarks over ERTY, digs at the back of the hair braid, and a pin prick right of the date. Glossy autumn brown and light steel. Full date and mostly readable legends.
