1796 S-92 R-3 Reverse of 1795 VG8 . VF sharpness but there is an scratch in the right obverse field, rim dents right of that scratch, at TY, and OF A, as well as fine microgranularity across the surfaces. Glossy ruddy steel and deep olive patina. EDS Breen state I. Full date and legends.

LOT 75

1795 S-76b R-1 Plain Edge VG10 . A couple points sharper but there is a planchet void on the cheek extending into a diagonal fissure down the neck. There is also a planchet clip behind the top of the cap, and rim bumps under 5 and over ER in LIBERTY. Glossy tan brown and light steel on fairly smooth surfaces. E-MDS.

LOT 80

1796 S-92 R-3 Reverse of 1795 VG8 . VF sharpness but lightly corroded with fine porosity and microgranularity across the surfaces. Glossy olive and charcoal steel patina. EDS. The 1 and lower parts of 79 are somewhat obscured but the date remains readable, as do the legends.

1796 S-81 R-3 ANACS VG10 . Medium brown and deep olive with a dull hairline scratch between T and Y in LIBERTY, and a few around ONE on the reverse. Otherwise fairly smooth, semi-glossy surfaces. MDS. Our grade is consistent with ANACS, VG10. Certificate# 7341330

LOT 77

1796 S-81 R-3 AG3+ . Glossy olive and steel patina with hints of lighter tan and mcirogranularity on the surfaces except the highpoints, which are smooth. Bold date and LIBERTY, readable peripheral legends on the reverse.

1796 S-93 R-3 Reverse of 1795 G5 . Medium brown and light steel with hints of lighter tan on the portrait and deeper chocoalte in some protected areas. Lightly porous surfaces. EDS. Worn in places but still fully readable legends, bold date.

LOT 78

1796 S-88 R-4 ANACS VG10 . Semi-glossy medium olive brown on the devices and legends, deeper olive in the fields, with traces of maroon in the protected areas of both sides. Light microgranularity covers the surfaces with a couple minor rim bruises over E in LIEBRTY and under the bust tip. EDS, full date and legends. Our grade is VG10 net 8+. Certificate# 7341332

LOT 82

1796 S-94 R-5+ Reverse of 1794 G5 . VG sharpness but corroded with old verdigris giving a semi-glossy deep steel and jade patina. No visible marks otherwise. Readable date and legends.
