LOT 202 1794 S-51 R4 PCGS XF Details, Environmental Damage. Sharpness EF40 or slightly better but covered with microscopic roughness under rather frosty chocolate and olive brown toning. The highpoints are a slightly lighter shade of steel brown. A trace of verdigris shows at the fraction and the only marks are a dull nick or planchet chip on the shoulder and a thin planchet fissure at CA (as struck), and a tiny rim bruise at the U in UNITED. Sharply struck EDS, Breen state I. Our grade is net VF25 . The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. (Previously housed in a PCGS slab called AU Details--label included). 35615.97/43967613

LOT 203 1794 S-53 R6 PCGS Fine Detail, Environmental Damage. Sharpness VG8 but dull from uniform fine roughness. Dark steel brown with slightly lighter toning on the highpoints. No verdigris and the only marks are from a light horizontal scuff on the truncation. The date is weak but readable; same for the legends. Our grade is net G5. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. 35621.97/43967614
